Santiago Tello Mijares, received the B.S. degree in electronic engineering in 2006 and the M.S. degree in electrical science in 2008 from ITL, Torreon, Mexico. He has, since 2010, been pursuing the PhD. degree in Telecommunications and Computing at the Department of Tecnología Electrónica y de las Comunicaciones in the Universidad Autonoma de Madrid, Madrid, Spain, at the VPU Lab.
He worked as a supervisor in electric maintenance from 2004 to 2006, at Parras de la Laguna S. A. de C. V.
He has, since 2006, been a scientific researcher at the Electrical Science Department in the electronic instrumentation from Instituto Tecnologico de la Laguna, Torreon, Mexico, and since 2008 has been a professor at the Instituto Tecnologico Superior de Lerdo, Lerdo, Mexico.
His research interests are biomedical and biological image processing and electronic instrumentation.
